August 9 / Pastor Alec / Jeremiah 29

1. Ice breaker: What’s your best storm or natural disaster story?

2. What is your working theory of how to go from strangers to family?

3. What are some ways the Lord might be calling you to build your house?

4. What are some ways He might be calling you to build His house?

5. How do you “garden” in your life? Are there any seeds God might be calling you to plant?

6. How could we bless those around us who are not a part of the Church?

7. Have you ever spent time literally building (or working on) a house or planting a garden? Are there any lessons you might draw from those experiences that would help you fortify your life, family, and church family?

8. What thoughts do you have to add to the question of how we can build things that can weather the hundred year storms that we can’t predict but we know are coming?
